See How We Move Our Chickens Everyday

  • Greater Nutrients

Moving our chickens everyday to new areas of pasture means they get to eat fresh, nutrient dense grass everyday. Not only does this give the chickens more nutrients, but the consumer as well.

  • Greater Life

By moving our chickens to fresh areas of pasture everyday, it keeps them clean and allows them to express their natural insticts of scratching and pecking.

  • Greater Land

By moving our chickens everyday helps us naturally fertilize the soil over our farm.

    Healthier soil = healthier animals

We love ordering from Fat Mountain farms. They products are so good and the best tasting chickens & lamb. They have always been responsive and forth coming with what they feed their animals and how they live before harvest. It makes a big difference in the products they sell. Thank you so much for your time and energy.

I love the chicken and lamb from Fat Mountain Farm. All of their products are delicious and nourishing. It matters to me that animals are healthy, happy and well fed when they’re alive. Fat Mountain gets that job done. It’s also great to be able to have a relationship with a local farmer. Jack is always available to answer questions and help in any way he can. I recently tried their lamb tallow for skin and it's wonderful!!
